What do you eat for dinner when you have had an entire mountain for Lunch and still feel hungry at night? You really can’t help if you have an appetite of a Wrestler guy.
Yesterday we went out for a family lunch and it was insane amount of yummy Junk and drinks. Although i did limit my intake, but it doesn’t really matter if you take bite sized portions of 20 things in one go.
As I mentioned in my earlier posts that I can’t survive on Salad as meals as I need to feel full after every meal. So i came up with my own version of huge Salad bowl which by the way was as tasty as it looked. And let me tell you it’s very easy to put together.
Rainbow Salad bowl
- Lettuce ( A bunch)
- Washington Apples – 2 ( Yellow and red colored)
- Walnuts ( handful)
- Strawberry ( 8-10)
- Mix seeds
Dressing
- Mustard sauce ( 1 Tablespoon )
- Olive Oil ( 1.5 Tablespoon)
- Red Chilli Vinegar ( 1 Tablespoon )
– Keep the Lettuce in Ice cold water with ice cubes for 5 minutes, dry them up and make a lettuce bed in your salad bowl
– Add everything
– Make the dressing in a separate bowl and pour on salad.
– Mix everything up and eat immediately
* You can make the salad from any fruit/greens available. Just try to add as much color as you want. The more colour the better.
* Same goes for dressing, go with your taste buds. There are no rules for a perfect meal as long as it makes you happy!
