Ninja Breakfast 21

Wow only nine days remaining to my challenge, I feel so good and happy. I could have never imagined I would be able to do it sincerely everyday. But it looks like I do eat my Breakfast quite well. There were times when I used to think what awesome stuff I should have the next morning. Then the righteous me thought, I will post exactly what I have ‘in real’ every morning. And I am glad I am able to do that. Isnt it sounding like my last day speech? I should save it and use it then. Or screw it; I will say what I feel like right now.
Today i did not had a good start to my day; my eyes were really paining a lot. And it is hot (finally) in our part of the country too. As I have really long day to look forward to, I opened the fridge and found exactly what my tummy needed.
Beetroot Watermelon celery ginger Smoothie with Sunflower seeds.
Beetroot – I know a LOT of people who can’t stand the taste of these beauties. It will be okay from now on. The reason we should consume it because it is great for boosting stamina and making muscles work harder, it also contains potassium, magnesium and iron as well as vitamins A, B6 and C, and folic acid. Beets also contain carbohydrates, protein, powerful antioxidants and soluble fiber. We have it as a salad, sandwich or in curd in my home. With this smoothie, you can get all it’s nutrients and not really get it’s taste on your tongue.
Ginger– There are so many benefits of Ginger that I would need to dedicate a post about it. Just one of the many includes that it helps improve the immune system. Consuming a little bit ginger a day can help foil potential risk of a stroke by inhibiting fatty deposits from the arteries. It also decreases bacterial infections in the stomach, and helps battle a bad cough and throat irritation. Ginger contains chromium, magnesium and zinc which can help to improve blood flow, as well as help prevent chills, fever, and excessive sweat. Yaaay no sweaty armpits, kidding!
Celery – It is packed with fiber and also offers folic acid, calcium, potassium, and vitamin B and C. Celery is a favorite of many dieters because it contains so few calories and provides a number of health benefits. Raw celery, which includes juiced celery is the healthiest way to consume the vegetable.
Watermelon – are a great fruit to help you hydrate and cool down in this heat. Also, since it’s mostly made up of water, pureed watermelon makes a refreshing drink. Despite being mainly water and sugar, watermelons are actually a very good source of vitamin C, (which provides protection against immune system deficiencies) and vitamin A (which promotes good eyesight).
Sunflower seeds – They have so many benefits, than you MUST include them in your everyday diet. They are also in-between meal snacks. They are cheap too. I will link from where you can buy these sitting at home at the end of the post. Some benefits include :
1. High in energy
2. Cholesterol management
3. Protein rich
4. Controls blood sugar levels
5. Good source of Vitamin E
6. Rich in Folic acid

8. Heart friendly
